Jewel's Essentials LLC is named after my grandmother, Johnnie Jewel. She was a beacon of love, selflessness, and grace. She has taught me that kindness truly is free and to help others without the expectations of receiving a reward is fulfilling all on its own. She has also taught me to don't live in regret. Take a chance to share with the world something that you enjoy. Life is already filled with what ifs that you cannot control, but you have the power to control what you put out into the world. Hi everyone and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Laloni Wilson. I have a background in biology and is currently going back to school for biochemistry to further improve my recipes for my current and future products.
My journey started while I was a senior in high school, I started to develop extremely dry skin. I had felt very embarrassed because I was doing a lot of sports that unfortunately showed the skin on my legs. I first started just mixing random skincare products hoping to find something that would give my skin a nice moisturized and glowing look.
I finally landed on coco butter from a skincare line and it worked well until it didn't. I ended up skipping moisturizing because it felt like a workout just to try to use that coco butter since it did not easily melt and absorb into the skin. I mean I was sweating all over! And on top of that when I used it in certain places it felt like it just sucked all the moisture out of my body and left me dry even though it didn't look that way.
Now I have made myself a product that melted almost instantly and practically effortless to use. On top of that I knew everything that I was putting on my body and exactly where it came from. Most importantly I want to thank my husband Deven for encouraging me to share my creations with the world and start Jewel's Essentials LLC.
